The week of April 7 through 11 has been designated by Governor Rowland as Materials Week in Connecticut. The Connecticut ASM Chapters will be conduction a Career Fair at the New England Air Museum on April 8, 2003 from 9 AM to 3 PM. The event is designed to encourage High School students to pursue studies in the Materials Sciences. Over 500 High School students are scheduled to attend this Fair; most arriving by bus between 9 and 11 AM. Your attendance and enthusiasm to assist to assist with convincing students to enter the real Materials World will be appreciated. Call Joe Zucco at (203) 250-6922 to volunteer as an liaison. ASM has negotiated exclusive use of the museum during these hours. Admission is free to students and ASM members.
