Dear Members:Last meeting to go before the summer break, and last opportunity to attend a meeting to make new contacts, or reestablish old ones. Hope you can attend.

Our thanks to Dr. Leon Shaw of the UCONN IMS for coordinating the student speakers at the May meeting. After voting by the attendees, the awards where given in order to: 1st - Dan Goberman: Thermal spray of nanostructured coatings; 2nd - Scott Thompson: Solid freeform fabrication by SALDVI; 3rd - Jim Crocker: Toughening of ceramics; 4th - Zhigang Ban: Synthesis of WC and Co nanostructured powders. Congratulations to all our speakers!
