We offer our congratulations to both of our winners and hope to meet with them and their families at our June meeting for the presentation of their awards.

Dear Members:The 2000-2001 Hartford Chapter of ASM season is winding down and we are fast approaching the last meeting of the year.  The Executive Board hopes that you have enjoyed the meetings, speakers and activities that we have presented during the past year.  We have endeavored to make them both interesting and diversified to attract the most members to our meetings.  Next year's Board is ready to take up the challenge of providing our members the best programs they can arrange.  We will give them all the support they need.  

At the May meeting we announced the slate of officers for next year.  At the June meeting we will vote.  The nominations for next year's Executive Board are listed elsewhere in this Macrogram.  Anyone interested in participating in the chapter administration should contact a Board member for details.  Our chapter needs members to stay active and healthy.  Join a winning team.

The award of for our annual scholarship has been made.  Due to the number of applicants and the breakdown of applicants, we awarded two scholarships, our $1000 scholarship to Colin Whitehead, a senior at Coventry High School, who will attend UConn and a $500 scholarship to Jeremy Rice, a junior at UConn.
