Please call in ASAP – thanks! Program: Last year’s speakers from UConn were well prepared and delivered impressive presentations. This was our most attended meeting of the year. Due to the popularity of the program, we once again invite the students back to duel it out for first place. Judging will prove to be difficult, as all the students put on very polished presentations. Top student presentations will receive cash awards. Get in on the excitement, and plan to attend! chairperson Dear Members: Our chapter year may be winding down, but we still have “must attend” programs coming your way. If you’ve held off on coming to a meeting, this is your opportunity to get to know your fellow members, and “network”. The student program is richly rewarding – attending Our thanks to Dr. Harris Marcus of the Institute of Materials Science at UConn for his presentation on Materials Clusters formation in Connecticut. We had a very involved audience, with lots of questions and comments for Dr. Marcus on the how’s and why’s of this effort. On some general housekeeping notes: In preparation for the membership directory to be due out in the fall, please be sure to have your personal information and company affiliation properly listed with the national ASM.
