The Southern Connecticut Chapter of ASM International has scheduled its January monthly technical dinner meeting on January 16, 2003. At this meeting the Chapter is pleased to present Mr. Selim Noujaim, CT State Representative from the Waterbury (74th) District. Representative Noujaim is executive vice-president of the family-founded and operated Noujaim Tool Company, Inc., in Oakville, Connecticut. Mr. Noujaim is a graduate of Teikyo Post University, Central Connecticut State University, and the University of New Haven, where he received a master's degree in Business Administration. He has lectured at Teikyo Post University and Naugatuck Valley Community Technical College. Representative Noujaim is involved in numerous community activities, including service on executive boards of several business and professional groups and councils, including the Waterbury Chamber of Commerce. As a State Representative he serves on the Commerce and the Human Services committees. His broad experience in business and manufacturing as well as in public service provides the speaker with rather unique qualifications to talk on issues relevant to manufacturing in Connecticut and the State Legislature. Representative Noujaim's presentation will provide the Chapter's members and guests with the worthwhile opportunity to hear his perspective on the Legislature's influence on business and manufacturing in Connecticut.
