            At its March technical dinner meeting, the Southern Connecticut Chapter of ASM International is pleased to present Mr. Roger J. Fabian, Eastern Region Sales Manager of Bodycote Thermal Processing (formerly Lindberg Heat Treating Company), Berlin, CT. After having served as chairman of the ASM's Metal Treating Institute, the Heat Treating Division Council, and the ASM Technical Planning Board, Roger Fabian continues to be active in various ASM National committees. Mr. Fabian graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a BS in Metallurgical Engineering and later earned an MBA from the same institution. Since joining Lindberg in 1962 as plant metallurgist, Mr. Fabian was promoted through various managerial positions to that of vice president in 1985 and manager of CT operations in 1992. Bodycote purchased Lindberg Corporation in January 2001. 
A Fellow of ASM, Mr. Fabian has 40 years of technical experience in heat treating, brazing, and processing of ferrous, nonferrous, and high temperature materials. As the Connecticut ASM membership is well aware, Roger Fabian has the extensive professional experience and knowledge of the business and technology of heat treating of metal alloys to make his talk an enjoyable, interesting, and informative technical dinner meeting for members and guests of the Chapter
