Chris will give a description of the Proton Exchange Membrane or PEM fuel cell and discuss its use in stationary and transportation applications. The fuel cell was invented by Sir William Grove in 1839. Fuel cells are electrochemical devices that react hydrogen and oxygen to create electricity and water.
