SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT CHAPTER of ASM INTERNATIONAL

 ADVANCE  PUBLICITY  NOTICE

             The Southern Connecticut Chapter of ASM International has designated its March 18, 2004 dinner meeting as Sustaining Members Night. The after - dinner presentation, "Thermal Spray Equipment", will be delivered by Mr. Mohan Sangam, Northeast regional sales manager, Praxair/TAFA, North Haven, CT.  Mr. Sangam will review the thermal spray industry with emphasis on commercially available spray equipment and powders and their comparison.  Mr. Sangam received his MS in Materials Engineering from Drexel University and an MBA from Butler University, Indianapolis.  He has held a series of positions in Engineering and Operations in a number of thermal spray related organizations including Plasma Technology Inc., TRW, and Chromalloy.  His extensive experience with coating applications in the aerospace business and with thermal spray equipment will make this meeting a fascinating and informative technical dinner presentation for ASM members and guests.
